What a fantastic day for our U12 Unicorns as they took part in their very first Pitch Up & Play event, hosted by Hackney RFC!

For many of the girls, this was their first experience of playing rugby against other clubs, and they certainly did themselves proud!

From the first game to the last, the girls showed brilliant determination, enthusiasm and teamwork. It was lovely to see just how much they've already learnt, putting their training into practice and, most importantly, enjoying every minute of being out on the pitch.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing the girls working together, not just as a team but alongside players from other clubs too. A wonderful example of the true spirit of rugby, with everyone coming together to make sure the girls had a great experience.

A big thank you to Hackney RFC for hosting such a welcoming and enjoyable event, and to all the other teams who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to meeting you all again soon!

This is only the beginning of the rugby journey for our youngest Unicorns, but if their first outing is anything to go by, we've certainly got some exciting times ahead!

Well done, girls! You've made us all very proud, and we can't wait to see what comes next!
