The OG’s U11s brought the energy to the Wasps Middlesex Rugby Festival, playing four cracking matches and showing exactly what this squad is all about. The first match offered a tough start against a very strong Hammersmith side - OGs may have been defeated, but they were never down or beaten, taking the fight right to the end. The second match against Hackney was a proper nail-biter, two evenly matched teams going toe-to-toe. It was a close-run contest and a brilliant OG performance, just falling short despite the effort and intensity on display.

The team bounced back in style against Regent Park with a convincing win, before an absolutely fantastic finale saw OG’s finish on a high with their second victory of the day. Across all four matches, it was brilliant rugby - full of pace, teamwork and determination. Add in top-notch organisation, perfect weather and a proper festival spirit (with just the right amount of chaos), and it made for a memorable day all round.
