A small but enthusiastic group of U9s met up for the Enfield Town Junior Park Run this weekend, as the OGs pitches were unfortunately still unplayable. Despite the conditions, the group of nine players showed fantastic commitment, each putting in a strong effort and pushing one another throughout the full 2K course.

The atmosphere was brilliant, with parents providing plenty of encouragement from the sidelines, and it was great to have members of the U11s team there as well, adding to the sense of club spirit. The OGs were certainly well represented, both on and off the course.

After the run, Coaches David and Paul took the opportunity to lead the group through a series of ball control drills, making the most of the session and keeping the players engaged. Overall, it was a really positive morning and a great way to build endurance, teamwork and resilience ahead of the upcoming festivals.
