With a couple of lads missing & playing against a bigger squad both in numbers & physically, was always going to be a tough ask!
No disgrace in this performance the boys played well to the very end.

Four quarters so Elizabethans could rotate their squad we came out second best on each occasion.
Early doors & thought they were us in disguise!
A nice passing style but quicker to support at the ruck & always managed to ‘win that 50/50 ball.
They had an added asset in a quick strong winger who scored each time he got his hands on the ball.

Thomas scored in the first & third quarters....in support & running onto the ball at pace.
Then two great plays from us in last quarter & back to our best.
Henry took the ball on, interchanged with Jake who found Jack throwing a dummy pass at Jarrod but popping off to Henry to score in the far corner.
Then in the middle of the pitch, Leo found himself an opportunity to throw his trade mark 'dummy & a hole appeared the size of the ‘Watford gap for him to burst through. Tackled on the oppo’ 22m line Jake following in support to pick up & run in his try.
Some big strong carries by Sahand, Jarrod & Tobi & nice hands with ball down the backs line, but we needed to get over the gain line more to make life easier & give us that “go forward ball!
