We've played Letchworth many times over the years and always get a proper game and this was no different.

Straight from kickoff, our forwards made some impressive metres with their straight running and also showing some subtlety with tip passes amongst the big boys.

Letchworth always have a very potent fullback who can carve through us at will so we had to be mindful of stopping him early which we did.

Nerves were settled by a brilliantly worked try that started off with the forwards driving through the middle, then quick wide ball via our potent half backs Oscar and Oisin to our left wing Sean O'Neill showing some deft footwork to score in the corner.

Another impressive drive ended with a hard fought drive through the middle from our impressive no. 8 Rochey to give us a 14 point lead.

However, this game was not done and Letchworth came back with some impressive back play resulting in 2 tries in the second half that fortunately weren't converted.

So it was left for the final 15 mins OGs hung off with some valiant defence to see out the game but at a cost of losing our 2nd row Ryan to hamstring and our hooker Ethan to a shoulder injury.

Well done to the whole team, this was a 20 player effort from the whole squad.

Onwards and upwards with the league still in our sights!
