Our U14 girls travelled to Hertford RFC as part of the OGRFC Unicorns / EIRFC Tigers cluster to take on a strong Hertford / Datchworth side, running out in the blue and yellow of EIRFC.

It was a close and competitive game throughout, finishing 27–22 to Hert/Datch. Despite the result, the girls put in a brilliant shift and showed great determination from start to finish.

Both sides moved the ball well and the tries went back and forth, making for an exciting contest. Our girls kept working for each other, never letting their heads drop and showing real team spirit across the pitch.

It was also great to see the game played in such good spirit, with strong sportsmanship from both teams.

With the match falling on International Women’s Day weekend, it was a great moment to see so many girls out on the pitch representing the women’s game.

Well done to all the players for their effort and for representing the girls rugby so well.
