Half term saw a depleted Hertford squad arrive at #WEL, having got the better of us last month. This time, it was our turn to put things right — and in some style.

Our OG/IGs cluster came out firing, racing into a 14-point lead inside the opening five minutes. From there, the girls never looked back. We made full use of the squad throughout, underlining just how well this partnership has developed over the course of the season.

A huge shout out to Eve, Novelei and Mable, who volunteered to play for the opposition and demonstrating a fantastic example of the TREDS values in action. A special mention to Eve, whose try against us was a real highlight of the day.

On the scoreboard, Carmelita led the way with four tries, with Ella and Sophie both adding two apiece. Lexi and Ruby T also got on the scoresheet in a convincing 60–24 win.

We finish our home fixtures next Sunday as we welcome Woodford to The Fortress — all support very welcome.
