Our U16 girls travelled to Finchley RFC this weekend for their latest fixture. Joining forces with our Saracens Sonics cluster, it was also our turn to pull on the red and black of our teammates.

The final score finished 71–7, although the game itself was much tighter than the scoreline might suggest. The girls had to work hard throughout to keep the upper hand and maintain control of the match.

It was particularly pleasing to see the progress in the team’s communication and organisation on the pitch. Players were talking, supporting each other well and working together across the field, which made a real difference during key moments of the game.

The match was also a great example of the strength of the cluster partnership, with players from across both clubs combining well and enjoying their rugby.

Thank you to every player who made the effort to come along — we needed each and every one of you. And as always, a big thank you to the parents and supporters who travelled to Finchley to cheer the girls on.

A strong performance and a great team effort all round.
