Despite injuries reducing our numbers right up to kick-off, we got the game on, playing 12-a-side against a strong OA/Saracens team in the HEM Herts, Essex & Middx League.

Our forwards put in a spirited performance, working hard to provide a strong platform for the backs to strut their stuff. With limited training together, it was lovely to see the girls backing themselves, taking their chances and putting together some fantastic off-the-cuff rugby.

Led brilliantly by captain fantastic Bella and her centre partner Amani, the girls showed plenty of determination and worked hard for each other to come away with a 39–31 victory.

A tough game and a well-earned win the whole team can be proud of. Well done, girls — two wins from two is a fantastic start to the season and we're excited to see what else this OGs/FIN/WEL cluster can achieve!
