Our newly-formed Under 12’s girls played Bishop Stortford/Harlow yesterday afternoon in their first ever match. And wow, they did OG’s proud!

They had two fantastic tries, and made some good tackles and passes but, better than that, they had spirit in abundance and worked hard as a team, learning from each other and supporting one another until the final whistle and into the bar!

They have only been playing togther for 4 months, with most of them never having picked up a rugby ball before October of last year. I bow down to their tenacity and commitment, their humble beginnings and belief in themselves and their lions desire for more!
