It turned out to be a long morning at Chingford and our boys and girls were flagging a little in their last match BUT we finished 3rd overall and brought another trophy back to Worlds End Lane.

My big learning from the day is how we sustain ourselves at festivals (and on tour). The Wymondham coach who reff'ed out final game pointed out how we were a very differnet side from the one that had played them (several hours) earlier.

My new mantra is "snacks and fluids".

Finally, I just want to a big thank you to Patrick for going beyond the call of duty and doing more than his (our) share of refereering. Or, to put it another way, he out reff'ed the opposition. This allowed Jeff and I to concentrate on the team.
