Lottery, Festivals and Foreign Fields

Esme Wright27 May - 15:07

Exciting times as we launch our club lottery, celebrate a brilliant U13s festival and send the First Team off on tour to Poland

Support Old Grammarians RFC and You Could Win £25,000!

We've joined The Fundraising Club Lottery, and we need your help to spread the word!

How it works

It costs just £10 a month to play - and that gets you into two draws, not one.

Every Friday there's a weekly draw with a £250 jackpot, two second prizes of £100 and a five third prizes of £50. Then at the end of each month comes the big one - the Monthly Super Draw, with a £5,000 first prize (plus a 1-in-6 shot at an extra £20,000 bonus jackpot, making a potential £25,000 win), a £2,000 second prize, and 20 prizes of £50. All prizes are tax-free.

As a thank you, every player also receives a free Gourmet Society membership - giving you up to 50% off meals out, cinema tickets, and family days out.

What does OG get?

Of every £10 ticket, £6 comes straight to Old Grammarians RFC as a fundraising grant. It's one of the simplest ways you can back the club you love.

It's not just for OGs!

Friends, family, neighbours - anyone over 18 in Great Britain can play. The more people who sign up, the faster we can improve the club, so please share the link far and wide.

What could we fund?

The committee and members want the same things - a club we can all be proud of, with the facilities and equipment to match. Every new player who joins the lottery brings us closer to making that a reality.

In the short term, we're aiming for the everyday improvements that make a difference - proper door mats, boot scrapers and an enclosure for our new robot mowers. The kind of things that smarten up the club and show we care about what we've got.

Beyond that, we're dreaming bigger. New scrum machines to sharpen our training, a full LED floodlight kit to open up our pitches at any hour, and seaweed aeration for Pitch #2 to give us a surface we can genuinely be proud of all season long. These aren't pipe dreams -they're a list we fully hope to work through.

The more people who play, the faster we get there. So please - share the link, sign up your mates and let's build this together.

None of this is out of reach but it starts with you sharing that link with anyone who'll listen, whether they've ever worn an OG shirt or not.
